Welcome to IT Helpdesk system!
To open the helpdesk, type the below URL in your web browser.
Below page will be opened.
Click on Sign In button. System will ask for user name and password.
Type your windows login username and password and click ok. Below screen will appear.
Once you logged in, as shown above you can
- view your already logged tickets
- create new ticket for issues
- create new Service Item for service requests
- create new change for new features/enhancements
- search for solution articles
1. To view your already logged tickets, click Your tickets as highlighted below.
Once you click that, below screen will be opened, showing your already logged tickets. You can click on individual tickets to view details of individual on each of them. You can also update them with your comments.
2. To log a New ticket, you can use either Create a ticket or New Ticket option as shown below.
Once you click on any of the above mentioned option, below shown page will open. You have to fill the required fields. You can attach a file using Attach a file option available. You can directly paste the screen shots in the Description field.
Once all fields are filled, click on Submit button to raise the ticket.
3. To raise new service item, you can use Request New Service or SERVICE CATALOG as highlighted below.
4. To raise a change, click on the CHANGES tab as highlighted below.
Below change screen will be opened. Click on the New Change button highlighted below to raise new change.
Below change form will be opened. Fill the details. Provide detailed description of the enhancement/requirement in the Description field.You can add images to this field. You can also attach files to the change form using Attach a File option at the bottom. After filling all details, submit the form. It will be send for approvals for relevant parties. Upon all approvals, IT team will take it forward for further processing.
5. We have provided solution for some of the repeated, known issues in the Help desk as Solution articles which you can search in the portal. To browse for solution articles in the Help desk, you can click on either Browse Solutions or SOLUTIONS tab as highlighted below.
